Welcome to Beyond The Veil — a third-person, semi-endless, magic-dodging prototype forged in the Unreal Fellowship under pressure, passion, and a dangerously low amount of sleep.

This isn't a finished game. It's a wild, playable slice of what could be.

What's in this version?

Biome:
🪨 The Mines – dark, unstable, alive with glowing crystals and lurking spirits.

Enemy:
🔥 One. A flaming, flying demon-thing that does not want you here.

Magic:
🧊 Ice Spell – a sharp blast to take down that airborne menace. Time it right.

Abilities:
⚡ Dodge between lanes
🕳 Slide under railings
🪜 Jump over rock piles
🔮 Crystal Magnet Power-up – pull nearby crystals to you for a short time. Chain it like a pro and stay in the flow.

What this prototype is really about:

• Raw feeling over final polish

• Emotion through mechanics – how it moves, how it sounds, how it haunts

• Style as substance – visuals that cut through the noise, just like the spell you cast

This project was built as part of the Unreal Fellowship, where 50 devs were chosen from over 500 to create magic in just a few weeks. Every mechanic, every asset, every bit of it was built from scratch as a passion-fueled experiment in magic and motion.
